John has led some of Canada’s largest real eastate design and construction projects over the past 15 years, including airports, hospitals, NHL Arenas, and post-secondary facilities. John excels at aligning stakeholders on implementing innovative solutions to challenging project requirements. John has experience with alternative energy, sustainability, heritage, seismic, and physical security solutions and all contract methods of project delivery, including Public-Private Partnerships.
John has spoken on design and construction at conferences and universities across North America, including the Centre for the Built Environment at UC Berkeley, Construct Canada in Toronto, and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada's Annual Conference.
A licensed Professional Engineer, John holds a Master of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Queen's University at Kingston. John serves on the boards of companies and charitable organizations.
